ISCP Faculty of Wellbeing and Health Coaching Psychology
The International Society for Coaching Psychology has launched the Faculty of Wellbeing and Health Coaching Psychology. This is a faculty of the ISCP International Centre for Coaching Psychology Research. The Faculty is building a knowledgebase of the relevant theory, research and practice in this branch of psychology and related fields.
A tentative working definition is “Wellbeing and health coaching psychology is the practice of health education within a coaching framework and context underpinned by psychological principles, to enhance the well-being of individuals and to facilitate the achievement of their health-related goals” (adapted Palmer, 2012).
